Academic Background

Dr Joseph Calleja is an Advocate by profession practicing in Malta, Europe. 

Joseph pursed his studies at the University of Malta, where he graduated as Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). He subsequently obtained the Diploma of Notary Public (Dip. Not. Pub.), and after successfully defending his dissertation, which critically reviewed the Maltese remedies in Public Procurement, he graduated as Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) from the same university. He then embarked on another academic journey and read for a specialist Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in European Business Law. The title of the dissertation which he submitted for his LL.M. read: EU Data Protection in the Fight against Money Laundering.
